With 17 lakes, some of the best fishing in Devon and an onsite tackle shop, you’ve got everything you need for a peaceful break – with some moments of high excitement! Our lakes are well stocked with roach, tench, rudd, perch and carp, and landing a 20+ pounder is not unusual.
Stay in one of our cosy Lake Pods and you can fish from your decking with all you need right there in the pod. Or opt for a family Lodge or Luxury Cocoon. There are so many different activities for everyone in the family that you can slip away and fish to your heart’s content without anyone raising an eyebrow.
At Clawford Lakes, there’s a host of fun activities with something for everyone, making it the ideal choice if you are looking for a family activity holiday in Devon. Our lakeside setting gives you the perfect opportunity to learn some new watersports or hone your skills. Take a kayak out on the water or test your balance on a paddleboard. We’re a short drive from the Cornish coast where you can go sea-fishing, diving or surfing at Bude. Or head inland to Dartmoor for walking, climbing and treetop ropes at Go Ape.
