Dog Walking Holiday Breaks In Cornwall & Devon

Walks that deliver a woof of delight!

At Clawford Lakes, we have the kind of walks that make tails wag so you can be sure your four-legged friend will enjoy their time here as much as you do. Whatever your choice of accommodation, there’s a dog-friendly option at no extra charge and our 80-acre estate offers lots of easy walks. Of course, you must remember to respect the wildlife, fisherman and other guests sharing the estate with you.

Surrounding the estate, our picturesque corner of Devon has quiet country lanes, waymarked trails and leafy bridleways, so there’s no shortage of walks where the dog can explore every smell and you can breathe deeply and enjoy your escape from the bustle of everyday life. Further afield, the North

Devon and Cornwall beaches are famously sandy and great for dog walks. Some have restrictions during the summer months, but there are still plenty of dog-friendly Devon and Cornwall beaches to choose from all year round.

That’s all before we’ve mentioned the open moors and hills of the National Parks, the stunning coastal paths and all the dog-friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants you can build into your walks.

Our Tail Wagging Guarantee

Dogs are always welcome at Clawford Lakes and here’s our six-point Tail Wagging Guarantee to reassure you:

  • Pets stay free. There is no extra charge to bring your dog
  • There’s no limit to the number of dogs you can bring. If they’re family, they’re welcome
  • Choose your accommodation – we have a range of pet-friendly holiday accommodation
  • Lots of on and off-lead walks from your door within our 45-acre park
  • Plenty of poo bins to keep our park clean and safe for everyone to enjoy
  • Dog beds that you can book, to save space in the car

The Clawford Lakes Doggy Holiday Code

We keep the rules to a minimum in our simple Doggy Holiday Code, which is designed to ensure that all our guests enjoy their holiday:

  • Keep your dog on a lead when you’re not in our off-lead walking areas
  • Make sure you have your dog under control, especially when there are children around
  • Please don’t leave your dog alone in your accommodation
  • Don’t allow them onto beds or seats
  • Clean up after your pet and use the Fido bins around the park for disposing of your poo bags.

We can’t wait to meet you and your pet soon!
